Kamil Woronowski Custom Knives!

I want to show you some knives made by my younger brother Kamil. He is a knifemaker too and he makes some great knives, although he is only 19. He doesn't have a website yet, so this is one of the few places on the internet where you can see his works. Lets start from the smallest knives to the largest he made.

Some little necks...

Some traditional hunters...

Larger utility knives...

Two knives of his wasteland/fallout series...

And many, many more. It is only an example of his work.

I hope that you like it too :)

First knives in 2012

Some photos I made in the first weekend of 2012. Five knives I have been working on lately...

Cooperation with my brother
and another neck knife
The one with scandi grind is a cooperation with my younger brother Kamil, who is a knifemaker too :). I made a sketch, he cut the steel and grind the knife. After that I made the holes for pins and cut out some steel to make it light as a feather ;). Now it is ready for a heat treatment. We can't decide wheather it should have wood or micarta scales, but I want it to have both traditional scandinavian and modern feeling. That is why the scales should be made of...

Those knives below are the first 3 knives that I started in 2012.

My 5th friction folder
New friction folder with granade lock made for a guevara who I met on the last annual gathering of knives.pl forum. The pin is going to be threaded and when not used can be screw in the end of the handle. I believe that this idea is something new. I hope that it will work well and not unscrew easily. If not, there sure will be more folders with this lock. The handle in this knife will be black textured G10.

N690 brothers
Two knives born from one design and one piece of 5mm N690 steel. So technically they are twins;). But like all the twins, born with different characters. The black one will be a heavy duty utillity knife with green canvas micarta scales. The one with a double guard - a fighter. It is just a begining of the work but I think that you can fill the diffrence.

The only thing left is to find some time to finish it :)

Orange Survival Set (Part 1)

I want to show You a knife that I designed about 2 years ago. Now, after 2 years it is almost ready for heat treatment. But before that, I have to make another blade, as the set will also include a small neck knife, firestarter (with orange handle of course) and Fallkniven DC3 sharpening stone. Everything will be mounted to the same sheath made from orange kydex and black leather. I have no freaking idea how will I do that but I believe that it will be awesome ;) I finished a similar, smaller set a couple of months ago: Flying Bear Survival Set. This time the blade is 12.5 cm long and is made from 5mm D2 steel and G10.

I made a photo of the knife last weekend so You can see how it looks now.

Look forward for more of this project in the near future

Welcome to my Blog!

It is always hard to start something new... but I recently decided to make a blog about my hobby - knifemaking. I will show here updates from my workshop, stuff being in progress, something about myself and what is the most important: new, finished knives.
I decided to write in English although Polish is my native language so please be tolerant ;)

I hope You will enjoy reading the blog as much as me writing it :)
